It is also difficult to take time out of employees’ days for training. With the Safety Council of Palm Beach County, Inc.’s Lunch & Learn, you can learn practices to keep you and your drivers safe on today’s roadways.
Come join us for lunch and receive helpful tips to keep you and your drivers safe while on the road. This lunch will cover the hazards of distracted driving as well as the ways to reduce your injury in the event of a car crash. This presentation is beneficial to all, whether you are just commuting to and from the office or you oversee a whole fleet of drivers!
The busy Florida roads can be hazardous, and tourists don’t make it easier. In 2014 alone, there were more than 344,000 traffic accidents in the Sunshine State. Lunch & Learn participants will become competent in the hazards of distracted driving, in addition to acquiring knowledge about the new state law banning texting and driving, which went into effect July 1st of 2019.
Lunch will be provided and there will be a chance to network with other guests before the presentation begins. The next Lunch & Learn will take place October 2, 2019 at Embassy Suites on Belvedere Road from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Interested parties can register online now for $30, or pay $35 at the door.
